Shot Show 2022 - Magpul

Magpul presented at this year's Shot Show a large pool of new products that can be divided into three categories: accessories for firearms, covers and elements of clothing . The first category is the richest in terms of the number of accessories, so we will start with it.

New products in Magpul firearms accessories

The list is opened by four stocks, the first of which is the MOE SL-M Carabine Stock - Mil-Spec stock, an even more slimmed down version of its predecessors, designed for carbines with a mil-spec buffer tube. Another one is dedicated to MP5 based platforms and it is SL Stock - HK49 / MP5 . It allows you to improve the ergonomics of your submachine gun by translating the experience in designing rifle stocks into the world of submachine guns.

The next two stocks represent the environment of bolt-action rifles. The first is the Hunter American Stock stock for the Ruger American rifle. By itself, it takes the user to a different level of ergonomics, but it is related to a very interesting product, which is also on the list of new products, namely the Stanag Bolt Action Magazine Well adapter for magazines. Thanks to it, it is possible to use any Stanag standard magazine with different capacity.

The last is the Pro 700 Lite SA stock, which is a slimmed-down version of its predecessor, the Pro 700. Magpul has reduced the stock's weight while maintaining its strength and wear resistance.

After the stocks, the time has come for more accessories, such as the MOE Bipod bipod and the Enhanced Port Cover cover. In the case of the first one, we are again dealing with the process of slimming. The manufacturer boasts that reduced the weight by as much as 40% compared to the already existing Magpul bipods . He also announces that this treatment did not adversely affect the durability of the product.

In the case of the ejector cover, Magpul focused on the use of polymer, which eliminated the risk of corrosion and presented a tool-free assembly method that is impossible with mil-spec parts.

Durable and roomy DAKA covers

The next category are covers, in which the DAKA line products are of course the leader. DAKA Utility Organizer is a product that will find its place in many environments, not necessarily tactical or shooting, without any major problems. It is a product with an elegant finish that serves as an organizer for the necessary equipment such as a power bank, charger, pocket knife or keys. Its resistance to dirt and spills will surely come in handy in extreme situations as well as in everyday life.

Another cover is dedicated directly to firearms owners. DAKA Single Pistol Case is intended for storing a pistol. It has a rubberized interior that prevents the weapon from moving while carrying it, and a strong outer finish protects it from damage.

Staying at the topic, the next cover meets the highest standards of protection of the items placed in it. We are talking about the third product, which is DAKA Can 2.0 / Large . These are two development versions of the previous, rigid cover from Magpul. These containers provide full protection to even the most sensitive elements of your equipment, such as a flashlight, telephone, powerbank. However, they are large and heavier than other covers.

Magpul has also prepared a new product for fans of light packing. It is DAKA Lite . The construction is similar to the previous version of the covers, but it is made of lighter and more flexible materials, allowing you to organize your equipment without adding unnecessary grams.

New Magpul clothing and tactical equipment

There are two products in the last category. These are leather belts from the Tejas Belts series and Flight Glove 2.0 gloves. The belts will be available in three versions: El Delgado, which is a classic, elegant belt, El Pistolero with a patterned stitching giving it character, and El Cibolo, whose rough texture gives it an aggressive look. The Tejas line is dedicated to use with firearms or to diversify our everyday wardrobe.

The last product on the list are Flight Glove 2.0 gloves. A modernized version of the classic Nomex gloves used by pilots, providing greater flexibility during use, control and a secure grip. The gloves that give the feeling of a second skin can also be successfully used at the shooting range or during works requiring precision.
