The ultra-lightweight knife designed by Serge Panchenko, a wharncliffe blade made of 440C steel is very precise and useful despite its small size. The ergonomic scales are made of exotic Zebrawood.

The Bean was designed to be a knife that is easy to carry no matter where and when. In an urban environment, where a larger, locking knife may be viewed as threatening or not useful, the Bean shines. Designed with European customers in mind, the nonlocking ball detent Slip-Joint mechanism and small size of the Bean makes is legal almost everywhere.
