Umarex - HDS 68 T4E RAM Home Defense Shotgun cal. 68 - 2.4764
A variety of types of ammunition are available for the shotgun, created with a specific application in mind. Marking balls with paint or chalk allow for realistic training. Rubber and rubber-steel balls work well for recreational target shooting - thanks to their size and energy, they pierce through materials such as paper, cardboard, and even thin wood with ease, leaving large, clean holes. Bullets of this type also do well at breaking cans and bottles.
For thrill-seekers, there is also the option of using Devastator type bullets - steel balls with a plastic sabot, offering maximum impact force. They can handle punching through wood, glass, drywall or even sheet metal - definitely the closest real firearm experience available without a permit.
The polymer construction is equipped with an innovative gas maintenance system. Standard models of this type of device puncture the gas capsule as soon as it is loaded - as a result, the gas begins to gradually escape, maintaining pressure for about a month. The HDS shotgun has been equipped with a two-stage system - the capsule can be loaded, but its puncture occurs only after punching a button in the lower part of the grip. This allows the shotgun to be stored for a much longer period of time, while being ready for use at any time.
A lever above the grip allows selecting which barrel to shoot from or to fire from both barrels simultainously. Loading with .68 ammunition is done by placing the bullets in the barrel after opening the block. The sub barrel rail allows the use of tactical lighting or a laser sight for easier shooting in high stress.
