HF2 D Black, a great tool as well as an extremely effective full-size (full size) heavy folder for professional use. Folding knife designed for people who are looking for the reliability of a fixed blade, and do not want to give up the compact size.

A durable, versatile folding knife with a blade designed for use on the battlefield and for heavy work. With standard use, the Liner-Lock mechanism is effective enough to secure the blade. However, during heavy work it is required to block the blade by inserting a steel bolt into the hole, thus obtaining a reliable folder with the parameters of a knife with a fixed blade.

The blade - massive, extremely sharp (5.6 mm thick) with a false blade, with a Drop Point profile and a clearly marked belly provides excellent geometry of the cutting edge at low friction. Made of good sharpness, durable, high-cobalt stainless steel N690 with a hardness of 58 HRC made in the Austrian steel mill Böhler-Uddeholm. The blade has a non-reflective matt coating MIL-C-13924 BURNISHING. A smooth Plain blade was cut out with a flat grind. On the back of the blade, the notched ramp (thumb support) (spine jimping) facilitates efficient knife operation.

Double blade locking system: solid Liner-Lock mechanism, supported by an additional manual lock which is also a protection for a steel bolt fixed in the hole when we want to get a knife with a fixed blade. The flipper and blade with shifted center of gravity allow the knife to be opened quickly in two ways.

Handle - full-size, as in combat knives. Anodized aluminum grip pads for a secure grip with wet hands and when wearing a glove. Open construction so-called open-backed makes cleaning and maintenance easy. Spine Jimping notched notches on the backs of the handle increase comfort and grip. The metal clip allows you to move the knife in the tip-up position. In the rear part of the grip a hole (lanyard hole) with a stretched elastic cord with a steel pin attached. The steel head can act as a hammer / breaker for breaking glass and not only.

The case - made of wear-resistant, waterproof black nylon, enables safe carrying of the knife in an upright position on a belt or on a tool / vest.
