Spyderco - UK Penknife™ FRN Black Drop Point Knife - C94PBK3
SlipJoint - a non-blocking mechanism used in folders. It uses spring-loaded pressure on a flat incision at the back of the blade to keep the blade open during use. The use of force is required to fold the knife. SlipJoint keeps the blade in both folded and folded position.
CTS BD1 - corrosion-resistant, well-sharpening American phenomenal stainless steel. Manufactured in the USA by Carpenter Technology Corporation.
The blade - 2.5 mm thick with the Drop Point profile. Plain smooth blade is made with a Full Flat Grind. The flat cut guarantees excellent cutting edge geometry with a sharp tip, reduces the weight of the knife and presents a beautiful satin finish. The SpyderHole round cutout (Spyderco patent) has increased the hump of support for the ramp, which places the thumb directly above the hole, making it easier to open the blade quickly with cold or wet hands. Ribbed supports: spine jimping and (finger choil jimping), undercutting the index finger between the handle and the cutting edge make it easier to control the knife.
Handle - black. Made of knurled FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon), nylon reinforced with fiberglass. The folder is equipped with a wire made, screwed clip (left / right-handed) allowing to carry the knife in the tip-down position (tip to the bottom).
