Spyderco - Manix™ 2 XL G-10 Black / Black Blade Knife - C95GPBBK2
CPM S30V - corrosion resistant, resistant to mechanical stress American powder steel with the addition of carbon, chromium and vanadium, hardness 58-59 HRC. This unique steel is designed for the production of high-quality blades and knives. Made in the USA at Crucible Inc.
Ball Bearing-Lock - one of the strongest locking mechanisms on the blade. Hardened ball bearing placed in a black polymer basket in the open position pressed against the blade by means of a spring. Made in USA.
Blade - thickness 3.2 mm with Leaf-Shaped profile. Covered with a scratch-resistant, matte and non-reflective DLC (Diamond Like Coating) coating in black color. Smooth blade (Plain type) was made with a ful cut (Full Flat Grind). The flat cut provides excellent cutting edge geometry with a sharp tip and reduces the weight of the knife. An enlarged 14 mm round SpyderHole cut-out (Spyderco patent) allows you to open the knife also in the glove. Clear Finger Choil - an arched cut under the index finger and a notched thumb ramp on the back of the blade increase control over the knife.
Handle - screwed to 420J2 steel liners, textured cladding in black city. Breaking in beyond the covers of the line liners' grip on the backs of the notched handles of the so-called notches, called Spine Jimping for improvement and grip convenience. Performed with this G-10 device. Metal clips (left / right-handed) are stuck in the carrier (tip up). Enlarged gap (lanyard hole) to pull a leash or rope.
