The right level of safety despite the low upper structure is achieved thanks to the polymer collar stabilizing the ankle and the modern Vibram® TC5+ sole. A modern blend of polymers together with an aggressive 5 millimeter tread allows for stability on a dry, wet and uneven surface.
The use of lightweight and extremely durable polyurethane-coated nylon translates into high-strength footwear. To improve the comfort of the upper, mesh inserts were fitted to improve air circulation. The Merrell AIR CUSHION pillow in the heel cleverly absorbs shocks to improve the safety of the joints while running on hard surfaces. The insole made of EVA polymer supports the foot in key points.
Stiff tongue and rubber noses protect the foot, and additionally, thanks to the tight adhesion, the tongue limits the entry of contaminants inside the shoe.
