Spyderco - Manix™ 2 G-10 Dark Blue CPM S110V Knife - C101GPDBL2
CPM S110V - American stainless steel powder with 58-61 HRC hardness. This extremely abrasion-resistant top-quality tool steel manufactured in the Crucible glassworks contains 2.8% carbon and a significant admixture of niobium, vanadium and chromium carbides. Thanks to its properties, it stays sharp for a long time and guarantees aggressive cuts for a long time.
Ball Bearing-Lock - one of the strongest locking mechanisms on the blade. Hardened ball bearing placed in a black polymer basket in the open position pressed against the blade by means of a spring. Made in USA.
Blade - with Leaf-Shaped profile, thickness 3.2 mm. Non-reflective Satin Finish (semi-matt) coating. Smooth blade (Plain type) was made with a full flat cut (Full Flat Grind). The flat cut provides excellent cutting edge geometry with a sharp point. An enlarged 14 mm round SpyderHole cut-out (Spyderco patent) allows you to open the knife also in the glove. Clear Finger Choil - an arched cut under the index finger and a notched thumb ramp on the back of the blade increase control over the knife.
Handle - covered with textured cladding in dark blue color. Made of durable, resistant to high and low temperatures and chemicals G-10. The knife is equipped with a solid metal clip (left / right) allowing you to carry the knife in the tip-up position (tip up). Notched Spine Jimping cuts on the back of the handle increases comfort and grip. In the back of the grip, was placed an enlarged gap (lanyard hole) to pull the leash or safety rope.
