AK (commonly AK-47) is a legendary carbine designed by a team led by Mikhail Kalashnikov, firing the 7.62 × 39 mm cartridge, which was the primary armament of the Red Army from 1949 to 1959. The Tactical version has a graphite painted body, ergonomic pistol grip and a front grip equipped with 4 RIS mounting rails.
The body of the replica is made of durable ABS composite. The stock, pistol grip and handguard are made of nylon-based plastic. Metal was used to make the dust cover, external barrel with dummy gas block, ironsights, trigger and its cover, cleaning rod, gun sling loops, magazine release, selector lever and reloading lever with dummy bolt carrier.
The use of a v3 type metal gearbox with reinforced parts allows the replica to achieve a initial velocity of approx. 380 fps. Thanks to the compatibility of mechanisms with parts of other manufacturers replica is a great base for further tuning and modifications.
The replica is equipped with an adjustable HopUp system, which is accessed by pulling back the reloading lever. The kit includes a metal Hi-Cap type magazine with a capacity of 500 rounds.
The CM.028A model is made in Tokyo Marui standard - its construction is based on screws, unlike the original AK made with pins and rivets. Only accessories and parts made in this standard will fit the replica - accessories for firearms will not fit, or will require extensive reworking.
