The housing of the GL19R tactical flashlight is made of anodized A6061-T6 aviation aluminum. This and the exact sealing of the entire structure allows it to meet the IP68 standard and thus it is resistant to a fall from a height of 1 meter, dust and dust do not penetrate into it and it can be used completely immersed in water. Testing the flashlight in destructive tests with 5,000 simulations of live ammunition shots and the performance of 10,000 shock tests prove the durability of the flashlight and its mounting system.

Adapting to the standards of modern flashlights for weapons, the Fenix ​​GL19R has a double-sided switch that can be conveniently operated with the right and left hand. The mode of operation is changed by clicking the switch once, which also works in temporary mode. From the same button, the user has quick access to the strobe mode, and after holding the button for more than 5 seconds, he can activate lock, which prevents accidental switching on of the light in an undesirable situation such as carrying a gun in a holster. The GL19R model also has a memory function to facilitate the use of the flashlight. The controller automatically recalls the last used lighting mode after turning off and restarting the flashlight.

Mounting the tactical flashlight for a short weapon GL19R has QD (Quick Detach) levers, thanks to which its installation is intuitive and possible to perform in a few seconds. This feature allows you to quickly adapt the weapon to the prevailing conditions without the use of tools, in virtually any situation. In the set, the manufacturer also includes a dedicated Picatinny rail key, thus enabling the use of the flashlight also on a long weapon or other tactical equipment such as a helmet.

Modern Luminus SST40 LED, TIR lens with high light transmission and smooth reflector provide strong and concentrated light, with power of 1,200 lumens and a range of up to 210 meters. The additional function strobe light will help to confuse the attacker or signal the user's location from a distance.

The ARB-L18-1100P battery included in the set is charged via the USB-C port after connecting it with a cable to any power source, such as a power bank, laptop, desktop computer or USB car charger. To remove the battery, just unscrew the optics on the front. Such solutions eliminate the need to remove the flashlight from the weapon each time there is a need to charge the battery.
