Manufactured by Cyma, the replica of the AKS-74UN carbine with a body made of metal. The AKS-74U was created in 1977 for the Soviet Army, as an intermediate step between a submachine gun and an assault carbine. Its design is based on the AKS-74 carbine in which the barrel was shortened and the gas block, exhaust device and targeting instruments, among others, were appropriately redesigned. The carbine was used as armament for vehicle crews, paratroopers, special forces and militia. The version marked N is equipped with a dovetail mounting rail.
The replica's body, battery compartment cover, sighting instruments, trigger and its cover, external barrel with flame suppressor, reloading lever, side-folding flask and suspension mounts were made of metal. The pistol grip, bed and magazine are made of durable plastic.
The use of a v3-type metal gearbox with reinforced parts allows the replica to reach an exit velocity of approx. 370 fps. Thanks to the compatibility of mechanisms with parts from other manufacturers, the replica is a great base for further tuning and modifications.
The replica is equipped with an adjustable HopUp system, which can be accessed by pulling back the reloading lever. The kit comes with a composite Hi-Cap magazine with a capacity of 500 rounds.
The CM.035 is made to Tokyo Marui standard - its construction is based on screws, unlike the flammable AK made with pins and rivets. Only accessories and parts made in this standard will fit the replica - accessories for firearms will not fit, or will require extensive reworking.
