Military boots for operation in tropical climates, manufactured by Altama. Made of cowhide leather and Gore-Tex fabric. They have a sole developed together with Michelin and TruFit inserts to adjust the internal dimensions to the foot.

Footwear for hot climates, durable and comfortable

Shoes are designed to provide solid and comfortable footwear for use in warmer climates. They are made of cowhide nubuck leather, secured with Scotchgard impregnate, thanks to which it is resistant to water and oily substances, and easy to clean and care. It is complemented by Gore-Tex, thanks to which the whole thing is light, breathable and quick-drying.

The upper of the shoe is softly lined, which provides comfort to the ankles and protects them from irritation. Gusseted tongue protects the insides of shoes against dirt, such as sand, stones or debris.

All seams are made of triple twisted nylon thread, which makes them a very strong and flexible connection. The lace loops are integral parts of the design so they are tear-resistant and work together with the rest of the shoe. This ensures firm and secure lacing and the footwear fits snugly around the feet.

Sole specially developed by Michelin

The soles were developed in cooperation with Michelin. They have been designed to ensure maximum efficiency and comfort when used in hot climates. They provide very good traction properties, slip-resistance and insluation, while at the same time remaining light. Soles have nylon, not metal, shanks, thanks to which they are airport-friendly, which is a very useful feature for uniformed services officers, who often use air transport. There are two drainage holes above the midfoot of the sole.

The TruFit system allows you to precisely adjust the shoe to the foot

The TruFit system allows to fit the interior of the shoe to the shape of the foot, including the internal width and height, by using special inserts. As a result, the shoe actually adjusts to the foot, so there is no discomfort associated with excess vertical or horizontal play, and therefore the risk of abrasions. The set includes two TruFit inserts, one for each shoe.

In addition to the TruFit system, foot protection consists in appropriately shaping the interior. The heels are specially shaped and soft to reduce the discomfort associated with the breaking up process of new footwear. A similar application is applied to the inside of a thermoplastic protective tip, ergonomically shaped, adapting to the shape of the fingers and protecting them against damage. Thanks to these solutions, shoes are immediately ready for use
