The Black Fox Vesuvius D2 OD Green G10 is an improved version of the classic Vesuvius knife, designed by Alfredo Doricchi. It was created for the most demanding off-road tasks, while maintaining a compact size and light weight, making it a great tool for bushcraft, survival and hunting enthusiasts.
The head is made of High Speed D2 high-carbon steel, heat-treated to a hardness of 58-60 HRC, offering excellent durability and edge retention. The Drop Point head with Stone Washed finish, provides a balance between edge holding and corrosion resistance, performing well in a variety of terrain conditions.
The OD Green molded G10 plastic liner handle provides a secure grip, even with tactical gloves. An additional nylon cord wound on the handle and strong cylindrical rivets for pulling the safety cord are additional functionalities, increasing the utility of the knife in the field.
A kydex scabbard is included to protect the knife from falling out and the blade from the weather. By making it out of plastic, it also allows for quick retrieval. Equipped with a multi-position handle, the holster can be carried either on a belt or on a mount, providing customizability.
