Gerber - LMF II Infantry Tactical Knife - Black - 31-003661
The Gerber LMF II, or Lightweight Multi Functional is a knife, or rather a survival tool, developed in cooperation with the well-known American knifemaker Jeff Freeman. It was created for survival scenarios, and for soldiers in active service - who need a knife that is simple, versatile and durable.
The knife is made of stainless steel 420HC. The blade is almost 5 mm thick and 125 mm long and has a Drop Point shape. To eliminate the reflections it has been covered with antireflective coating in black. The partially serrated blade is irreplaceable when cutting ropes, belts, cloth and so on. Dace prevents the hand from slipping during cutting and provides excellent support for the thumb.
The handle is made of nylon with glass fiber covered with a layer of TPV elastomer. Its outer layer is matt and it also holds perfectly in the hand in gloves. The grip is ended with a special hammer that makes it possible to break the glass in case of an emergency or put a nail in.
Sheath has an internal skeleton made of polymer. In the lower part there is a sharpener with fixed sharpening angle. The knife is locked in with a strong clasp allowing it to be carried in any position without fear.
The set includes nylon straps for mounting the knife on the calf or at the thigh. They are equipped with solid plastic buckles, flexible inserts and non-slip rubber stitching. The tapes are in MOLLE standard, so you can easily attach the knife to your vest, backpack or thigh panel.
