The filter is made in the micro-fiber technology, through which water is passed. The holes in the fibres have a diameter not larger than 0.1 micron, which effectively retains dangerous bacteria and protozoa such as salmonella, E.Coli, Vibrio cholerae and many others. The filter also stops the completely harmful microplastic.
Thanks to high throughput, the filter allows you to quickly soothe your thirst while marching or resting, as well as effectively filter out larger amounts of water e.g. in the camp. Thanks to the included accessories, it can be used in various ways - to drink directly from the stream, from the bag included in the set, from a standard 28 mm PET bottle with a thread - and after buying a suitable adapter to mount it to your hydration set.
The Mini filter has a high durability - it is able to clean up to 100,000 gallons (378.541 liters) of water, with proper maintenance. Thanks to the high durability of the fibers used, backwashing can be used to clean the filter, with the included syringe.
