Herbertz Solingen - Karambit folding knife - 578314
Carambit - a type of knife that originated in Indonesia, with roots in Malaysia and the Philippines. It is characterized by an inverted handle with a hole for the index finger. The rounded shape of the blade is characterized by great cutting efficiency - the blade imitates the way a tiger's claw tears - piercing and cutting. Used as a work knife, martial arts knife (Self Defense and Martial Arts) and as a knife for self-defense if necessary.
Bead - with aggressive profile Hawkbill, coated with black non-reflective BT (Black Teflon). The rounded blade shape features great cutting efficiency and speed. The Hawkbill profile mimics the way an eagle's talons tear (piercing and cutting at the same time). The blade is made of 54-56 HRC, hardened AISI 420 stainless steel. The smooth Plain blade with Hollow grind allows for effective cuts with the cutting surface as well as the ultra thin tip. The arched index finger rest and notched thumb ramp make the knife easy to use. Double-sided Thumb Stud for quick knife opening. Liner Lock.
Handle - textured liners for better grip. Spine Jimping notches on the back of the handle increase comfort and grip confidence even with wet hands. A metal screw-on clip makes it easy to carry the knife in the tip-down position. The end of the handle is finished with an enlarged rounded head in a ring shape (finger ring) allowing you to perform traditional knife techniques, facilitating quick rotation of the knife around a finger located in the head opening.
