575212, compact, ultra-lightweight and reliable. The knife of the German brand Herbertz Solingen shows how the traditional Karambit knives from South East Asia have evolved.

Karambit - a type of knife that was born in Indonesia, with roots dating back to Malaysia and the Philippines. It is characterized by an inverted handle with an opening for the index finger. The rounded shape of the blade is very effective in cutting - the blade imitates the way a tiger's claw tears - piercing and cutting. It is used as a working knife, a martial arts knife (Self Defence and Martal Arts) and as a defence knife if necessary.

Blade - aggressive Hawkbill profile, covered with black non-reflective BT (Black Teflon) type coating. Rounded blade shape is characterized by great efficiency and speed of cutting. The Hawkbill profile imitates the way the eagle's claws tear (piercing and simultaneous cutting). The Hawkbill profile is made of hardened 54-56 HRC, AISI 420 Stainless Steel. The Plain smooth blade is concave-ground (Hollow Grind) and allows effective cutting with both the cutting surface and the ultra-thin tip. A curved index finger cut and a notched thumb ramp make it easy to operate the blade. Oval opening for quick knife opening. Liner Lock.

Handle - textured lining for better grip. Spine Jimping notches on the back of the handle increase the comfort and grip reliability even with wet hands. Metal screw-on clip makes it easy to carry the knife in tip-down position. The end of the handle is finished with an enlarged rounded head in the shape of a ring (finger ring) enabling to perform traditional techniques with the knife, facilitates quick turning of the knife around the finger located in the opening of the head.
