The smooth blade with Sheepfoot profile is made of stainless steel, which gives it corrosion resistance and strength. The blade used in Straightlace is extremely thin (2 millimetres thick), which makes it easy to cut through various types of materials - such as paper or fabrics.
Groove on the blade allows for easy unfolding of the knife, in a way known from swiss knives and similar smaller blades. The knife has no locking mechanism, it is folded by using a bit of force.
Grip linings are made of anodized aluminium, decorated with a red and white strip. The clip, which allows you to comfortably carry the knife in your pocket or at your belt, can be switched from side to side according to your preferences. At the end of the handle, there is a hole to secure the knife with a cord or lanyard.
