CPM S30V - Mechanical stress-resistant, corrosion-resistant American powder steel with carbon, chromium and vanadium in hardness 58-59 HRC. This unique steel is designed for the production of high quality blades and knives. Manufactured in the mills of Crucible Inc.
Blade - Plain flat blade with Full Flat Grind. Enlarged 14 mm round cut-out SpyderHole (Spyderco patent) for two-hand thumb opening. The fine-tuned, precisely machined Back-Lock blade locking mechanism ensures extraordinary smoothness of operation. The notched thumb rest (upper jimping) on the back of the wedge and the Finger Choil (index finger cut between the handle and the cutting edge) facilitate control over the knife.
Handle - the profiled, non-slip textured black lining of the handle provides a comfortable and secure grip. Made of durable, heat and cold resistant G-10 chemical. The linings are attached to a solid spacer (so called backsteper / handle cladding connector) made of stainless steel, which ensures the durability of the construction. The whole is fastened with torx screws to make it easier to screw and unfold the folder. Metal clip made of polished steel with the possibility of mounting in four planes (up/down, right/left) 4-way clip positions. Enlarged cable hole in the rear part.
