This unique knife to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of its existence, ordered the GIS unit (Gruppo d'Intervento Speciale), a special operational group of the Italian Carabinieri.
Blade - extremely sharp 6.3 mm thickenss, with a double-edged symmetrical blade. Made of a well-sharpened, produced in the Austrian Böhler steelworks, durable, high-grade stainless steel N690 with a hardness of 58 HRC. The blade is covered with a matte, unreflective MIL-C-13924 BURNISHING coating. Smooth blade (Plain type) was made of flat cut (Flat grind), providing excellent cutting and penetrating properties.
Handle - technopolymer grip (reinforced nylon) provides lightness and a secure grip even with wet hands. A steel head with an enlarged oval hole (lanyard hole) that allows you to pull a leash or a safety rope, can act as a hammer / glass breaker.
Sheath - tactical in black color with a waterproof nylon, allows carrying the knife in a vertical position.
