Slipit - the most common non-locking mechanism used in folders. It uses an improved spring mechanism with notches (notchet-joint spring mechanism) to keep the blade open during use. When folding the notches, they generate a smooth resistance like in a knife with a traditional lock. Slipit folders are also equipped with a finger groove between the handle and the cutting edge to prevent accidental closing of the blade.
SpyderHole - (Spyderco patent) round cut-out for easy opening of wedges and scissors.
Head - 2 mm thick with curved Clip Point profile, provides excellent edge geometry with low friction. Made of sharp, sharp 8Cr13MoV stainless steel (equivalent to Japanese AUS-8 steel). The Plain smooth blade is derived from a Full Flat Grind for excellent cutting properties and weight reduction. Reflective Satin Finish (half-matte). The thumb ramp and finger choil (finger groove), the index finger cut between the handle and the cutting edge make it easy to control the tool.
Handle - covered with stainless steel cladding. The folder is equipped with a screwed right side metal clip, which allows you to carry the knife in the tip-up position (with the tip up). At the back of the handle, a hole (lanyard hole) for attaching the safety line.
