Blade - with Drop Point profile made of good holding sharpness, easy to sharpen 8Cr13MoV stainless steel (equivalent to Japanese AUS-8 steel). Plain smooth blade is derived with Full Flat Grind to reduce the weight of the knife. The notched back of the head, the ramp (jimping / crosshatching) sets the thumb and gives solid support, and the curved undercut under the index finger between the handle and the cutting edge (finger choil jimping) makes it easier to operate the folder. Comet-shaped cut-out (Spyderco patent) for quick opening of the blade. Back-Lock lock with protection against accidental release of the lock during strong grip, cut-out in the lock design by David Boye.
Handle - solid lining made of stainless steel with Satin Finish coating (half-matt). Screwed construction ensures precise fit of all elements for maximum efficiency. Phosphor bronze pads ensure trouble-free smooth opening and closing of the knife. Metal hourglass clip with four-fold fixing (up/down, right/left) 4way clip positions. The hole (lanyard hole) allows for the attachment of a safety line.
