The Ekol Lite K-6L Black alarm revolver fires 6 mm long side-action bang cartridges. Under current law, no permit is required for alarm weapons up to 6mm caliber. The 6 mm long ammunition is much larger and louder than the 6 mm short caps, giving a greater feeling of real gun fire.
Revolvers of this type can be used for signaling purposes such as during sporting events, for calling for help in emergencies and during staging and demonstrations. It is also perfect for New Year's Eve parties due to its ability to shoot light flares and bang flares. The Ekol Lite K-6L Black has the dimensions and weight of its combustible counterparts. The revolver is operated in exactly the same way as models for centerfire ammunition. The Six-shot cylinder has a shell ejector, allowing you to quickly load more cartridges after you are done shooting. The Lite K-6L Black features, a DA/SA (Double Action / Single Action) trigger mechanism, which allows the cock to be self-tensioned when the trigger is pulled, as well as the ability to manually tension the cock. Shooting with self cocking tension (DA) allows you to fire all 6 shots by pulling the trigger one at a time. Tightening the cock causes the barrel to rotate and the next chamber of the drum with the cartridge is in the axis of the barrel. The falling cock knocks down the primer pressed into the cartridge orifice and the shot is fired.
